Six months after my 30th birthday, I faced acute myelogenous leukemia for the second time. I had a bone marrow transplant October 7, 2008, and I look forward to enjoying many, many more healthy years now that Laura (my sister) gave me the "gift of life", as she keeps referring to it.

It looks like a wonderful Thanksgiving. All of the boys are so attentive. How are Laura and Tiso doing? Have they made any new plans? Laura is lucky to have you and Katie near. I am so glad you gave me this link to the blog. It is good to catch up. Your photos tell it all and your writing is great.
