I got to take care of Cheeto this weekend, and just after I got there, this chubby bird showed up on the balcony. I think his wings were too wet for him to fly, so he hopped around eating fallen bird seed for a while. It was driving Cheeto nuts!!

Six months after my 30th birthday, I faced acute myelogenous leukemia for the second time. I had a bone marrow transplant October 7, 2008, and I look forward to enjoying many, many more healthy years now that Laura (my sister) gave me the "gift of life", as she keeps referring to it.
