And back to calm seas. That bridge in the background is the New River Gorge Bridge (or “The Rusty Rainbow” as our guide called it). According to Wikipedia, it is the third largest arch bridge in the world.

Six months after my 30th birthday, I faced acute myelogenous leukemia for the second time. I had a bone marrow transplant October 7, 2008, and I look forward to enjoying many, many more healthy years now that Laura (my sister) gave me the "gift of life", as she keeps referring to it.
