Still Snow, but Laura’s on her way!!!
Written by JKM on December 24th, 2008Can you believe it’s still snowing?! And, it’s still gorgeous!!! Laura should be blowing in with the snow at 8:30 PM (it’s now 6:30). Looks like the roads are not too good….we’ve been watching people get stuck on Minor Avenue all day (yesterday and today!), but Gobind got in OK from the airport the night before last using a taxi, so hopefully Laura won’t have a problem…
OK, that first paragraph is from Sunday. Monday our power went out for a while, and now we have no Internet at home (it is Wednesday, Christmas Eve). I’m typing from the SCCA communal computers, so needless to say, I don’t want to spend too much time in here. I called the apartment manager twice and actually walked down to ask about the Internet once, so I figure there’s not much else to do! But all is well….I have lots of funny stories AND pictures to share with you, but you may have to wait until next week….in the meantime, HAAAAAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!!! We’re thinking of you, and sending lots of love.

- 10 guesses what she's doing......OK, OK, you'll never guess this one. My mom makes these delicious frozen peppermint pies for Laura for her birthday every year, and this is how she figured out how to smash the mints....with a hammer....hahahahahahaha it worked! Ask her about the time she wrapped the mints in a bunch of plastic bags and drove over it with her car!!!! :)

Julie, I think you may be the Good Luck Charm that’s bringing all that snow to Seattle! We’ve pretty much had zero snow here in Nor.Virg. this year. Hurry home so we can get some snow up in here already!

It was nice seeing all those pictures! I sent one of Terry wearing shorts while walking Gibson…just to show a little difference in the weather. Can’t wait until the Internet is fixed!!!!
